Coaching is a form of support for the development of autonomy, the aim being to improve efficiency, increase adaptability to new situations and help with decision making or problem solving.
Through a process of listening and questioning, the coach throws new light on real-life situations which helps clarify scenarios and needs with an aim to assist in coherently defining and implementing a project. This approach generates significant developments in behaviour and efficiency..
The coach has a supporting role in the research and application of solutions, whilst offering the necessary objectivity for choosing between options to enable appropriate decision making.
